In an era where only married women could inherit property, just before the outbreak of war, a father hurriedly marries off his daughter. Her husband immediately leaves for the battlefield, and her father, a general, also goes to war and dies in battle. Years later, the man who returns as her “husband” is now a celebrated war hero. The two begin an awkward cohabitation and gradually grow closer— until one day, a corpse arrives with the official announcement: “This is your husband’s body.” Only then does she begin to have doubts. Her father had always said her husband was cultured and well-versed in mythology, yet the man in front of her doesn’t even understand the simplest mythological references… Is this man really my husband?
