The Devil's Whispered Offer
Kian had always found it easy to swallow his captured prey whole. He moved like a predator savoring its meal, loose and unhurried before Vivienne.
He kissed her burning, pointed ear with playful malice.
One by one, he brushed the soft lobe, the plush cheek, and the trembling lips of Vivienne, who was shaking beside him.
“If you don’t want this, say so now.”
His black eyes looked down at her with lazy satisfaction.
There was no flicker in them, no way to read his true intentions.
The air was not smoky, but the danger felt too real for him to be telling the truth.
It was like the devil’s whisper asking if you would bite at the candy.
“Or taste it and decide for yourself.”
Even as he urged her to decide, his lips kept brushing hers, and already the sweet breath of him was mixing with hers.
She had no choice but to resist.
“Then silence is agreement.”
Before she could answer, their lips met with a soft, wet sound.
Vivienne gasped in surprise and froze.
Was this really happening?
What if this moment she had longed for so desperately finally became real?
She had imagined it countless times.
It felt just like a dream.
She was too dazed to feel anything real.
Just as she thought the illusion would shatter, Kian pressed his lips down long and hard, confirming the reality once more.
Kian’s lips were soft and warm, far warmer and softer than she had imagined.
The place where he had just poured out sharp words moments ago could never be believed.
Their lips meshed without a gap, tongues sliding slickly.
Breath grew short, the room spinning.
She staggered back, but when she tried to retreat, he steered her expertly in the direction she was fleeing.
Only when the escape route was completely blocked did she stop.
A dull thud echoed against her back, sending a sharp ache through her spine.
Their lips parted, and a hot, unfamiliar breath escaped from her mouth.
“Hah… hah…”
Vivienne trembled violently, panting.
When she finally regained her senses, she was trapped tightly between the door and Kian’s chest.
She looked up at him with wide, terrified eyes.
Unlike her own ragged breaths, he was breathing steadily.
“You’re scared.”
One corner of his mouth lifted in a crooked smirk.
“If you’re thinking of running away, this is your last chance.”
He captured her small hand and placed it on the doorknob.
She instinctively curled her fingers around the handle.
“It’s simple. Just open the door and walk out of this room.”
What if she did?
The man in front of her would vanish like a mirage.
It might even draw the attention of Matilda or Theodore.
“I won’t grab you or hurt anyone. I promise.”
She had said no.
Yet the uneasy feeling that something was terribly wrong still lingered.
His soft voice kept whispering in her ear, and his scent seemed to seep deep into her lungs.
Even knowing how dangerous he was, she couldn’t move.
“That’s not it.”
He pinned her trembling body between his strong arms and murmured in a daze.
“If you truly want me, kiss me yourself.”
His smile was wicked.
He was giving her yet another choice.
Hot breath spilled across her cheek, trapping her like a noose.
She instinctively knew he was dangerous.
But the offer was far too sweet to refuse.
It was like choosing between waking from a nightmare into nothing or reaching the pure white moon.
If she had to choose one after already sacrificing half her soul, why hesitate?
Vivienne rose on her tiptoes and kissed him.
A soft, chaste brush.
With that fleeting contact, her long eyelashes fluttered slowly as she lowered her lids.
Kian’s calm expression shattered at that exact moment.
“…Open your mouth.”
Obeying his command, her lips parted, and their mouths crashed together.
His hot tongue plunged in greedily.
Their tongues swirled and mingled, tasting every inch of her mouth.
His large hand clamped possessively around the back of her neck, the grip of a starving beast.
Saliva flowed into her mouth, loud and obscene sounds echoing in her ears as he sucked deeply.
Her face burned with shame, even reaching her ears.
Her body grew weak, a strange sticky sensation flooding between her thighs.
Before she could process the unfamiliar feeling, a sharp rip tore through the air behind her.
A sudden chill raced down her heated spine.
Vivienne flinched, and their locked lips parted with a wet, sucking sound.
Their eyes met in the air, glistening with moisture.
“I’ll tell you something. The most useless thing in this room from now on is this.”
The dress slipped down with a soft thud.
“Now this.”
The moment she stood only in panties, Vivienne instinctively covered her chest with both arms.
She had seen it twice already.
Still…
Seeing it with clear eyes made her even more embarrassed.
Especially standing completely naked before him.
“Covering isn’t necessary.”
He peeled her arms away and draped them naturally around his neck.
“Walking isn’t necessary either.”
He lifted her body effortlessly.
The moment he laid her on the bed, the atmosphere shifted completely.
A deep blue glow lit his eyes.
Vivienne instinctively curled her body and crawled toward the headboard.
In an instant, her slender wrist was caught.
Kian pinned both her wrists above her head and loomed over her like a beast ready to bite.
Heat flushed across her face as she looked up at him.
“Sob all you want. Running is strictly forbidden.”
His eyes were low and heavy.
Inside them lay pitch-black darkness coiled like a snake.
The closer he came, the more she felt her breathing tighten.
“You gave me two chances earlier. This is cheating. Right?”
“…I-I won’t run away. I just… I’m too embarrassed…”
“Then prove it.”
He pulled a lace ribbon from his pocket and tied her wrists tightly to the headboard in one swift motion.
“If you can make me trust you, I’ll let you go then.”
Vivienne realized it was the ribbon she had prepared herself.
He always tested her in ways she could never have imagined.
“Does it hurt?”
Vivienne shook her head like a frightened bird, trembling.
It didn’t hurt. She was only afraid of being tied somewhere.
“You like ribbons, don’t you, Vivi.”
He smiled and tied a knot around her wrist.
“Don’t ever get it loose.”
He whispered in her ear and pressed a long kiss to her earlobe.
It wasn’t tightly bound, but the threat was clear.
“And you should feel just as embarrassed on this side too.”
Contrary to what he had said, his expression was shameless, like he had no sense of shame.
He began removing each piece of clothing one by one.
His cravat, the cuffs on his wrists, button by button on his shirt.
He never hurried.
The hard muscles beneath his skin were fully revealed.
The long neckline, the straight collarbone, the firm chest muscles tightly packed.
Under the faint moonlight, it looked even more unreal.
With the sound of his buckle loosening, his trousers slid down.
A large, thick length sprang free and bounced.
Vivienne forgot how to breathe upon seeing it.
At first she thought something was wrong.
No, it was definitely wrong.
No man could be this monstrous.
It looked alien, and she was certain this was the most frightening part of Kian’s body.
It had been terrifying when he poked her navel earlier, but seeing it in reality was on another level entirely.
During her mermaid days, when she went into heat, Anabel had explained mermaid reproduction to her.
Mating was called fusion.
It was when the male’s protrusion below the navel pierced the female’s hollow part.
After inserting it and moving, the seed would be expelled, and the female would become pregnant.
She had never seen a human version, but her intuition told her everything.
That was exactly the protrusion Kian possessed.
‘He said it was below the navel. Why is it reaching all the way up here?’
Something was definitely wrong.
Vivienne replayed the thought in her mind.
Her body simply didn’t have enough space for something that huge.
Her shoulders trembled involuntarily, and her toes curled inward.
Whether she liked it or not, Kian slowly crawled over her body.
With long, skilled fingers, he pulled her panties down.
The moment he said something was flowing, a long strand of sticky liquid stretched from the inside of her panties.
This was the first time she had experienced this physiological reaction after becoming human.
Moreover, it was not something she could control.
The strangeness and embarrassment of her own mistake were overwhelming.
“You’re wet.”
His smile was wicked.
Kian pointed exactly at the part Vivienne wanted to hide.
