Istar is a land of mages that upholds world peace and order. As the eldest daughter of the Wintercrown family, one of Istar's most prestigious houses, Ashlyn Wintercrown was walking a perfectly paved path to success. To bring honor to her family, she enlisted as an officer in the Istar Republic Magic Army. However, what awaited her was a horrific scene completely different from what was portrayed in the newspapers. "Why is that 'so-called' mage acting up again? She's not staying here for long anyway. She'll be transferred to another unit soon." Disheartened by the gap between her ideals and reality, Ashlyn finds an unexpected ally in Gennady Vilev, a terrifying werewolf sergeant who reaches out to her first. "I will assist you, Lieutenant." Ashlyn takes his hand, but the problem is... she has no idea what he is thinking. "So, we probably won't meet again. Unless you have incredibly bad luck, Lieutenant." A noble mage and a lowly werewolf. A connection with a man who seemed to belong to a different world begins to uncontrollably entangle within the turbulent waves of fate.
