[※ This story features 'Mui', the mentor of Park Yu-shin, the female protagonist of 'The Mad Dog of the Imperial Palace'.]
"What are you doing not sleeping?"
"I made this while mending my clothes. I didn't have time to embroider it because I made it in a rush."
"I told you not to do useless things. Go inside and sleep."
Just as Mui turned to leave, Ah-hwa suddenly pressed a handkerchief into Mui's hand and took a step back.
"The day I decided not to be dragged away as a concubine to the Minor King, I made a vow. If I'm going to die, I'll die doing what I can. So please accept this."
An absurdized Mui held out the hand with the handkerchief and said,
"You little punk. What you're saying doesn't make any sense! What does this have to do with that?"
"Please accept it. I made it with utmost sincerity out of gratitude that the Captain is still unmarried at that age. Well then, have a good night. I'm going in to sleep!"
After rapidly spitting out only what she wanted to say, Ah-hwa bolted into her room like she was running away and quickly turned off the light.
Left outside the fence, Mui was too dumbfounded for words.
