Facing being sold off to pay back her medical school tuition debt, Lionel interviews for the position of private physician to the Blasion Carseido Dukedom (which offers incredible benefits)— "You've discovered my secret." She accidentally found out: the Duke is an immortal who doesn't die even when stabbed with a sword! "Now, let's carefully discuss what to do with you." "Wait. If you're an immortal, that means you don't even need treatment? Then get out of my way immediately!" Right in front of Blasion, who is exuding murderous intent to protect a secret he's kept for 700 years, Lionel saves his adjutant. She even demands that he hire her in exchange. "I'll give you a year. Find a way for me to die." And Blasion hands her an unexpected mission as a doctor... "Since it's come to this, I'll risk everything to gift you a peaceful death!"
